Our mandate

Canada Fashion Council is an independent Canadian organization incorporated federally under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. Our work advances the people, businesses and perspectives that shape Canadian fashion.

We support designers, fashion entrepreneurs, models, buyers, educators, cultural organizations and industry professionals by advancing practical collaboration, responsible industry development and visibility for Canadian fashion.

A national perspective

Canada’s fashion sector is a meeting place of design, craftsmanship, commerce and culture. We support cooperation across disciplines and regions, recognizing the distinct contribution of Indigenous, emerging and established creative communities.

Corporate status

Canada Fashion Council was federally incorporated on January 25, 2024 under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (Corporation No. 1571968-2). Federal incorporation does not imply federal government affiliation or registered charitable status.
